has any one ran one of these old cross member kits?
Any one ever ran one of these rear cross member kits? I am wondering if the adjusters need to be welded so they will not slip.

Wow, never seen one of those before. It looks like with the right torque those wouldn't slip.

I would think that this design would not allow any movement once the bolts are torqued down. The real draw back though which I see with this design is the adjustment itself. The spacing between each of the "teeth" looks to be about 1/8" as you'd need to be engaged in the slots before tightening the parts down. That is a very course adjustment, especially on the toe adjustment and for this reason alone I don't think this particular set would be optimum. With a finer tooth profile gaining better resolution, then I thing the design would be better.
Just my thoughts at any rate. Any idea who made these? And when?

I have never seen those either, in all my years.
I'm with Byron, that is a very course adjustment, and when we are talking toe, we need a fine adjustment.

I think you would be wise to buy one of Byron’s kits. Worth EVERY PENNY and will save you the trouble of removing this one if it doesn’t work.
