I also used the rest of the sacrificial fender to help with one of my original fenders:ImageImageImage

The "O" needs to be thicker to match. I also might thicken the white outlines a couple points.

Yeah, I am doing this in AutoCad of all things, somewhat limited in font manipulation.

It does look awkward, I will work on that. Can always count on the straight dope from you Julian, appreciate it!

The border I am not so sure about, it looks close to me, kinda hard to see in the pics I have seen.

Does anyone have any other photos of that sticker, better then the speedhunters side shots?

I am having fun making it right, I just loved the idea behind this one, describes me perfectly!

I have one customer who lives in Paris, and once a year I have to talk to her. Google translate, while not perfect at all, lets me accomplish that. One does have to read the translation, and kinda second guess the idiosyncrasies, to make sure the thought process, is actually what you are trying to communicate. Kinda fun really.

The "O" still looks off. It's the non crisp lines.

Cool, that is good to know. Always wondered how well it works in the real world.

Good eye Kieth, that was modified in AutoCad and is not the font itself! I wonder how to make it look like the other letters hmmm...

Are the proportions OK now though?

Letters look slightly tall compared to the matching sticker you posted. "O" in the sticker has a less ovalized ID and OD, it's a little more squared off. Autocad "O" also looks slightly taller than the other letters, but probably isn't, and it's just the rounder "O" giving it a taller appearance.

I hadn't seen the sticker before, so my comments on the white outline going thicker was to help match the sizes of the blue and red shapes. Having seen the sticker, the white outline should stay as is.

yah, there is something about that "O" it just looks a bit too ovalized, like it needs to be rounder.

Lots closer. O is still wrong, though. Have you tried to find a close font in an illustration program and export the vector as .DXF to import into Autocad?

Looks like the IMPACT font is a close match for SSAN, and Franklin Gothic is a good match for the "O", but it needs to be stretched taller. Otherwise I made no mods to this:
