Understand, you asked... :)

The O has got a bit more space between it and the S than any of the other letters have between their neighbors. And I think the whole OSSAN needs to be stretched wider a bit. But that O looks a lot better.

No, I love the input, tuned it up quite nicely. Did the tweaking, I think I am cool with it now.

being a bit of an art guy, what draws my eye is the rugged edge of the "O", which I think would not be there when you get it made, or, it should not be.

the relationship is ok to me, just the letter outline is bad. The human eye tends to be drawn to symmetry, which is not there with the edges.

That's pretty dialed, Joel.

Keith, I think the artifacting you're seeing is just a low-res export. I know my own export had some jaggies, but since it's a vector format it should be smooth for the actual print.

I hear you Mr. Law, I hope it is an artifact of all the translating I did to post it.

The folks I am asking for a quote from don't use vector for some reason, (most pros do, I think they are catering to the internet crowds) we will see what their proof looks like.

(this is a not for profit effort, sorry I am not in Japan to just buy some)

I reviewed the vectoring, taking a bi-lateral, 3 dimensional snapshot, with artifacting correction, using a Sub2 Tri-dimensional graphics board, with Mega3 Interlacing, then removed the living room wall, and stood 50 feet back.....

They do take PDF, but mine is a facsimile of the jpg, so it is kind of rough.
I am sure it is my amateur status in graphics, my son is in town this weekend, I will have him look at it.

PDF is (or can be) essentially .EPS (vector) in another wrapper. .TIF might be your best raster option.
