I installed Byron's awesome brackets and then powder coated the rear cross member gray. The CV axles, Willwood disc, coilovers, sway bar, and the 4.11 lsd were pulled from the donor car.

I also installed DP Racing solid rear crossmember mounts.

While cleaning up some wiring under the dash I decided to pull the heater box and clean that up. Hopefully it will last another 40+ years.

Nice. Great welds on those brackets.
What are you doing for coilover/spring setup? The heater refurb is beautiful.

Thanks Joel. I'm certainly not the best tig welder but hopefully it won't come apart. Are you asking about the coilover/spring setup for the rear? If so I forget off hand, but I think I have written down at home. Let me check.

Boxing in the seams on all sides of the X-member is a great idea, I do that on all the one I install. I have done a few installations in the last month for local guys.

Looks great.

Thanks Byron. I'm not following you on what you mean by boxing in the seams on the x-member, do you mean you weld the length of the seams top and bottom on the rear facing side of the x-member?
