That head/exhaust flange sure looks familiar....measurements taken from a U67 on my bench many, many years ago (in the 90's)
Thanks to Rob for putting them in digital format for us all (10 years ago).

No, not exactly. I made my own measurements long ago, just as you had done. I entered the numbers you measured, and compared them with the numbers I measured; each of our measurements confirmed one another, within some typical margin of error. The drawing is a composite. I gave the drawing to Aaron Weir, who used to make and sell them through his then business Weirtech. Aaron has since been poached by Vibrant...

Finished my manifold yay. I cut the last piece already and gonna weld it up tomorrow
Any tips ? I will be MIG welding with a high voltage machine. The shop at school has everything you can think of

Some good tips in here:
http://ww.profabricationtechniques.com/ ... ng-tubing/ (I broke the link because it was pointing at a virusy website - RF)
I tend to weld in loops or 'C' zig zags with decent results. Preheat the tubing with a torch (have a buddy help ya), it will help with penetration. Crank up that heat - that tubing is thick! Is the machine you're using 110V or 220V? I usually have a zip wheel handy to cut off tack welds before going over them.
Might be a good idea to have some spare pieces to practice on first too.
Good luck man!

Re: 68 Dime, My car for Highschool!
That's A LOT of tube. A lot of runner length, but also a lot of weight. Are you planning to brace that manifold in places to the block?
FWIW, this is one I built. Even that was braced to the motor mount for support.

Re: 68 Dime, My car for Highschool!
I would agree with Julian, a brace is required. That's too much weight for the studs and it puts an incredible strain on the flange welds. Heat & vibration are not your friends.
Here's my old set up. I used the air pump bolt bosses from the block to brace mine.

You're obviously having way too much fun!
You have some teething and tuning to do, but congrats on the work to date. Must feel good to have it run.
