Got my self some front 280ZX struts and brakes. Today got the time to take the brakes apart and sandblasted the brakes. They really look nice now and have to find my self some paint for them. But got some little questions.
All looked pretty well but only one piston looked a bit rough. Is it still ok ?
Did put it in a lathe and polished it a bit.
And anyone knows a good source for new rubber seals ? Seems here in Europe its hard to find
280ZX brake seals ?

Caliper kits look readily available State-side:

Re: 280ZX brake seals ?
It's most important that the seal be tight fitting against the caliper casting and the casting be perfectly smooth. The piston just holds the seal and is less important, I think. It should be smooth and close fitting though. Is that pitting I see on the piston?

Yeah there is some pitting. Probably will order a new piston since they only cost $9.
