For all you close to Metro Vancouver that want to join our annual Christmas Party, We are throwing the date out there. How does December 17th work for you all?

Starting as usual at 5:10, celebrations will kick off well into the evening.

Aron and his wife Monique have graciously offered to host the event again this year in Surrey, just off of 88th and 160th area. Many of you have likely attended to this party at Aron's home in years past.

The spread will be the usual load of hot and cold snacks and pop provided as we have in the past.

Dec 13 - NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

So we have had some offers to try a Potluck this year, try something different.

Aron and I will make sure there are plates and cutlery and some soft drinks.

Food so far;

Pasta Dish - Cam and Susan
Slow roasted pork, shredded, with Portuguese buns - Byron and Joyce
Various appies and snacks - Aron and Monique
A home made supprise - Ron and Isabel
Apple and Pumpkin Pie- Robyn and Mandy

I'd like to add you appy or sampler to the list, Maybe Veggies, cheese ect? List your ideas, we'll get them down here.

Aron and I will top up the last minute add on's that will bring it all together

Hope to see you there.

Just wanting to bump this thread... need to get a rough idea on the number of people
that are going to come out this Saturday.. for food mainly.

In the past few years we have had around 20 people, but if people can give a bit of feedback
that would be great.

I hope to see everyone out this weekend rain or snow.

Hi All, so we've decided to bring a little twist to the party on Saturday - Potluck - bring anything.

Aron and I will top up the final list with the items that will tie it all together. We have quite the cross section of members in age and origin; I'm sure we can come up with some good food, and be different from the commercial stuff we've just simply purchased for the past 10 years.

Post your ideas. I have updated this original post and will continue to add your suggestions and items to that first post.

Looking forward to Saturday.

I cannot make, family stuff going on, such a busy time of year for sure. Just went and cut our Christmas tree, was it ever cold south of Langley, must have been -8C.

Have fun and lets look forward to next season of driving, I have some stuff I am planning to do for sure and lets hope we can all make it work.

Merry Christmas everyone!
