Bumper expert needed

Post by andrew.lori »

I bought a NOS Datsun bumper a few years back and made a confusing discovery today. The mounting Studs on the Bumper side are different than my old rusty bumper.
Were there different bumper Mounts for the 510?? I thought 68 through 73 were the same .
Comments Please :D

I think that the 73 bumpers are different, at least the brackets are different to mount the big rubber bumpers (say that fast).

I tried flipping no go.
Now that someone says it I do remember seeing something about the 73 bumpers being different because of the overrides. That makes sense. Now to find some 73 brackets ??
