Do you want to share? I have not booked yet..procrastinating of course...I don't mind sleeping on the floor on my matt. I think Byron was taking some family and even though I changed my last name to his, it did not seem to fly.

Heading down, I originally thought I would like to go down late thursday, late enough to miss the nightmare traffic in Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and Portland.

But...Friday really early would work for me, or late, or....I would like to convoy in case someone has a problem.

Sure Keith, I will change the reservation to 2 beds. I think it is only 220 for the 2 nights. I was thinking of leaving early Friday. Google says it is a 6h drive so I was thinking of getting on the first ferry and heading down. I could be at your office about 7:45ish or I could come in the night before and we could leave even earlier.

That sounds like a great plan if you are ok with that.

Maybe hitting the border at that time would get us past the traffic when we got to Seattle, or we leave really early. Lets discuss that further down the road. I have sent you a PM.

I'm sure John will sign your original Stainless Steel Carrot book, I've seen him sign some pretty interesting car parts and things brought to the BRE reunion. Heck I'm going to see if he'll sign my 5 and 8 year old kids lol. Great to hear more Canadians coming down to our show.

Just want to get the word out about our banquet dinner Sat night at 6pm, $15 per person and right after dinner John will be doing Q&A and sharing some racing stories, I bumped up the number of dinner tickets to 100 so get yours when you get there, you don't wanna miss this. The cater has a great menu, come have a good meal and hang out for a while with us.

I will have to make sure that is the first thing I do when I arrive. I would hate to miss it.

From the Vancouver BC area - who's going?

I'm definitely going down either Thursday evening or Friday morning - trying to avoid going through Seattle at rush hour. If we timed to hit Everett by around 10:30am, we'd catch the expressway headed south which is a good option and put us in Portland mid afternoon avoiding the traffic there. Working backwards, we'd need to be at the border at 9am - but I'm totally open if I could cruise with a few guys on the way down.

Thoughts? Who's headed down from Vancouver BC?

Pm's sent to Byron and Norm.

The 9 scenario sounds the best, the weather does not look promising at this point, but that can change, hope it does.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all at Canby.

I should be there with Lou and Kenny by Friday night. 3000 miles to cover before then.
Enjoy The Ride!

I'm not taking my camper, and have always looked and wondered where the supposed showers are?

Looking forward to it, and the weather forecast is greatly improved since Saturday.

I'll be there rain or shine.

No attendance here. I have a swim meet that the teens are in.

Would have been nice to meet everyone.

Same here, I stuck to my 100% weather window and at this point, I'm glad I did, just did not feel like dealing with crap weather for 3 days, been bad enough as it is..I must be getting older.

Next year.
