Building a 510 hillclimb racer

Post by drc42 »

Hi all, new member from New Hampshire here. I am working on a 1971 510 with the intention of building a fun street car that I can also do some hillclimb racing with. I am starting with a rather rusty rough car.... I am sure many would tell me it is beyond saving but I welcome the challenge! I am by no means an expert bodyshop guy but having fun learning the new skills.

I have been shooting some youtube videos to share my progress as I work on the car for those interested:

Welcome to the site, great to see new projects.

You'll have to post some photos from time to time of your progress.

Great to have you here.

Thanks, yes I will be posting pics but more importantly I am shooting video of the process and posting on youtube.

Going to start a thread on this in the "General Discussion" area.
