I plan on going. I think I was the first person to register even.
If no one from the future comes back to stop you from doing it then how bad of a decision can it really be?

I will come of not raining, which it is doing right now in White Rock.

Be very careful if the roads are wet, as they are going to be insanely slippery for some time.

So will we :-)

Pre Registration hit 224 this year! Here's a run down at the day before the show;

-Classics take up 59 entries. Of those preregistered were 23 Classic Datsun's -12x 510's, 9x Z's and only 1 Roadster. I'm expecting a bunch more at the gate, but that's an amazingly low number of preregistered Classic Datsun's. There are more Classic Toyota's registered this year than Datsun's, which is a total flip from 3 years ago when we had less than 5 Classic Toyota's registered.

-The Nostalgic class this year dwarfs everyone - at 95 cars. These are the future classics, and include mostly mid to late 80's and 90's cars for the most part. Honda's make up the majority of this call, with Toyotas not far behind, followed by Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Suzuki.

- Modern at 31 entries is a class we don't push, as it is a classic Japanese show, but just the same we make room as these too will be classics one day. This class is dominated by Nissan's, followed by Subaru.

-The bikes at 10 pre-registered. We just can't seem to grow this class, need to modify our approach, or maybe they'll just show up. We'll have to see tomorrow as this certainly is a weather dependent group.

-Trucks at 15 entries, mostly in the Nostalgic class.

Weather doesn't look good today, but there is in a clearing trend for tomorrow. We need the rain - no one locally can argue that with a record number of fires burning in Western Canada. And we needed to knock the smoke out of the air in BC. But it's Murphy when the first rain in 2 months falls the day before our show :-) Thankfully it's in a clearing trend, and although the forecast is no rain overnight, the hourly at this point for North Vancouver is a trace of precipitation in both the am and pm.

But I am enjoying the test of the PA system in my rec room at the moment - works just fine... :-) I'm pretty sure I could blow the bay window out of this room with this stuff!

So, hopefully we'll see you local guys out tomorrow. It will prove to be a good turn out no matter what.

Not raining so far, going to coffee up, wander over to the garage, light the fire and head over to the show. I think it will take about an hour from South Surrey, be there around 8:00 AM.

Let's hope the smoke finally goes !!!!! Last week I went up to Manning, it was apocalyptic just past Hope till the top of the climb. Think of the heaviest fog you have driven through...THAT WAS THE SMOKE. Our eyes burned and throats just gagged. If it had been like that in Manning we were going to go back home.
