Not really...You live where I'd love to live...I live in Prosperity,SC...I'll keep looking here I guess. I might try an experiment on the 240-260-280 that the PO installed on the right and see if I can get rid of that pos camber. If I can I'll just get another one for the left and have at least bigger brakes from this planet...Thanks
Re: WTB: right side stock strut housing
I have the strut and a manifold with a Weber 32/36 on it. Please email me back and we can work a deal you can’t refuse. Check PM
Re: WTB: right side stock strut housing
The 240-260-280Z struts do not work well on a 510. The 280ZX Struts are a good replacement for bigger brakes.guzzirik wrote: ↑04 Jan 2019 00:07Not really...You live where I'd love to live...I live in Prosperity,SC...I'll keep looking here I guess. I have stock 510 strut tube assemblies if you decide to go that route. I am in Maryland and can ship.

Re: WTB: right side stock strut housing
So many 510's have had the front struts replaced with 280ZX or 200SX etc..........do you need a 510 strut or could it be one of the others? If 510, what year? There were 3 different tube lengths.............68-69, 70-72 & 73.
I think I posted on another of your threads...........the 240-260-280Z struts have the INCORRECT camber angle for a 510............they do NOT work well on the street, although some SCCA guys used the Z struts back in the day to have that camber angle!

From the top of the casting to top of the tube without nut is 16"
Re: WTB: right side stock strut housing
It' a '70 coupe
Re: WTB: right side stock strut housing
So my measurement was not 16inches. We have not established WHICH strut & brake combo you have...........are you sure you need a stock 510 strut with the solid rotor (not vented) AND the goofy 510 brake caliper?

Re: WTB: right side stock strut housing
Yes, it has the solid rotor and the goofy caliper combo. As soon as I can get some pics loaded you guys can tell me what Iv'e got on the right. I think it's 240Z. If I could find a pair of ZX struts at a halfway reasonable price I would definitely go that way but there aren't any in the local junkyards and the ones on ebay are outrageous. I guess I'll just be patient and wait 'till I can find some. Thanks
Re: WTB: right side stock strut housing
Did you "stretch" a tape measure around the spring perch to measure?? That might explain my measurement of 15-1/2 vs yours at 16.......?? I should have each of the three variants, just need to make sure which one.
