I have '71 4-door sedan with missing original fuel filler door. I got an used door and it fits fine but does not seem right.
I see an excessive gap at hinge side. Is this right or is there any variation in filler door by production year?
I just want to be 100% sure before sending to painting.
Thank you.

Looks like even though the updates vary when you look at the 2 and 4 door pages, the same parts numbers are used.
Don't be afraid to bend the hinge a little to get it more centered.

That's a simple adjustment that's all. Push ~n~ pull will get you there.
