I watched this last night, highly recommended! It is done by Adam Carolla, like he did with WINNING and the 24 HOUR WAR. It is now on NetFlix.
It is timely, what with the racial issues in the U.S..
We watched him a few times over the years, the Indy car race here in Vancouver, an amazing driver. What he endured, to me, was an overall testament to his strength of character, regardless of his abrasive nature at times, who would not be.

Long before Bubba- there was Willy T. Went to watch him race at RA with Trans Am in its 80'S glory days. I enjoyed him as a driver and a character/celebrity.
I'll have to watch this.

At the Seattle race, David Hobbs was holding him up big time, so he punted him in the back. We watched David storm back through the pits, just fuming! I wish we could have been right in the Team pits to hear what might have been said.

Go back a little further to the story of Wendell Scott (Hard Driving by Brian Donovan), he is arguably the very first African American trying to win at NASCAR. Illustrates just how far Bill France and others were willing to go to keep this man from being a contender. A must read.
