Dumb question: how close does the 2-piece hinged, steel pedal from the Nissan forklift come to being a bolt-in, Nissan replacement for the original 510 plastic living hinge accelerator pedal for those of you wanting to keep it? Found this on eBay just now and instantly recognized the pattern:

May make a separate thread just for this since it's relevant outside of eBay. I never use the original pedal anymore (I always either mount an OMP pedal to the original arm or just convert to the entire assembly out of later models), but I thought some of you may be interested.

Eewww, I can smell the nasty mainland Asia knockoffness from here. Plus it just doesn't look period correct, which for someone set on retaining the floor-mounted hinged pedal, is probably a consideration.
To be clear, the one I linked to on eBay is genuine Nissan, just repacked in a third party bag. There's an almost identical assembly in the Nissan bag also on eBay for $7 more, but it has a different hole spacing.

I dunno, maybe $300-400 US? Seen a few sell on FB in that range.
