Does someone know if the blue 510 is a stock Datsun colour and if so, what the code is?

Thanks for the quick reply... I'm looking for an original colour for my build, but that looks great.

It's a bit of a hassle but I'd Google Datsun paint colors. Take note of the years available. Then try to narrow it down to 3 or 4. You might find examples of stock paint 510s on line.
660 blue is the one on the rotisserie here in my shop. But really grab a 1/2 pint of a few and do a spray out. As you noticed here I like to do a door of fender and leave them outside in changing light. Picking color can be difficult if you give yourself too many options. Stock blue and most of the work is done.

HI Mike,

I've got the list of Datsun paint colours. As you point out, better if you have something more substantial and less subject to the variations of different screens, computers, etc.

When we met in Qualicum, you mentioned a green colour that really grew on you over time. Which code was that? Any pictures?

Thanks again for hosting and showing me your inflight project. It was great to meet some more Datsun people on the Island. Very cool what you are doing with the restorations. You should definitely charge more :D .
