KA24 Alt problem
KA24 Alt problem
On my 73 dime I have a KA24 Swap. Replaced my Alternator was only giving me 12V and the new one is the same? I did not do the KA Sawp does someone have a electrical diagram for this?

Things not addressed...
1/ what alternator are you using? The original 510 or the KA???????
2/ If the original 510 alternator why was it replaced??? Given the terrible record of rebuilt alternator failures. Seems like 50% failures often 'bad in the box'. If it's the $60 special from Auto Zone then look no further.
3? If you have the KA alternator is your externally regulated 510 electrical system 'converted' to use an internally regulated alternator??? If not then this is your problem
