I'm going to get on installing it tonight. There will be a small bit of fabrication to mount it but it should be pretty simple.

Amazing quick!

Is there a bladder in that? Or just an empty tank?

I didn't go with a bladder. I'm going to isolate it with rubber to cut down on the stress on it. It also has a chamber that the pump goes into to help with fuel starvation.

I'm staying tuned.
Glen and I pulled the trigger a few weeks ago to complete a similar fuel neck set up to what you build for your car. The parts should arrive this week and I look forward to not smelling gas in hard LH corners.

Well I dropped the fuel tank in place today to see how it fits after I put the pump in.

It sits well in the space. The panel that sits behind it still fits and it looks like the parcel shelf will still fit. The angle to the filler is a bit shallower than I would like but I will see how it goes.

Does it still hang from the side brackets or actually sit on the trunk floor?

I am mounting it to the floor. Looking at how much the car flexes at the stock mounts I didn't think it would be good to use them to hold the aluminum tank.

Is sits dead flat side to side and .5° forward tilt.
I still need to mount the back cover plate and the parcel shelf but I set them in and they fit.
I have about an hour more work to tidy everything up and is should be good to go.

Well I got out this morning for a good drive up and down the coast. Left home at 7am and only saw 2 cars going in my direction on the way up with 4 and a motorcycle on the way back. I'm in love with the new tires. I really started to push it on the way back and they just stick. I did not find the limit of them but after today I think the limit may be a bit higher than I'm willing to push it on a public road. Mid corner adjustment happen without drama at silly speeds. The car feels glued to the road and the braking on hot tires is outstanding. They also have way better road manners than the other yokohama tires I have used.
I had a motorcycle following me back down and he stopped to talk to me in sechelt. He couldn't believe the speeds I dove into the corners. I was so far ahead coming out of every corner that he had to really giver to get anywhere near me before the next one.

I brimmed the new tank before heading out and I found a few things I need to address. I need to vent the tank outside the car. That is easy to address. I just need to get a piece of fuel hose to run for it.
It is also slow filling because of the small vent line. I'm going to add a AN-10 fuel tank bulkhead fitting beside the filler to attach to the 5/8 vent line that is currently not in use so the air can get out fast enough to fill it at a reasonable speed.
There is also a bit of a fuel smell on really hard left turns so I need to find where that is coming from. I think it is from the plugged 5/8 line on the filler but I need to investigate to make sure that is it. I can't see any leaks or signs of fuel so I'm pretty sure that's it.
The cover panel and the storage shelf fit perfectly so it's a win there.
