Hi all. I wanted to throw a general question out there. I’m looking for a radiator choice that will be available for years to come. I know we used to use VW golf rads, back when 80’s Golfs were around! I would like to find a commonly available OEM rad that could be had anywhere with little time in case it’s needed.
The application is under 200 HP, and upper drivers in, lower pass out flow.
What have you guys used lately?
Thanks for your ideas.
Byron

I just buy the Koyo 510 rad and modify it to work in my application. Looks nice, fits well and cools perfect. We have the Chinese knockoff in our racecar. When we hit the wall and shifted the front over 1 foot it didn't even leak.

My $125 champion ebay rad works great after you move the outlet. They are now almost 250+shipping now though.
If no one from the future comes back to stop you from doing it then how bad of a decision can it really be?

It looks like this. I can't find the champion one at the moment.

I got my outlet on the rad moved to make more room for the alternator pulley.

Yeah - I have one (kept the outlet where it is - and it is basically on the alt pulley. It works - but moving lower outlet is a good move.
Finished is better than perfect......
