Vin Plate Size?

Can someone please give me accurate measurements for the vin plate that is mounted on the shock tower? Mine disappeared into the abyss that is my garage so I'm making a reproduction. I don't know if they're any different through the years, but my car is a 72 2 door.

It is EXACTLY:

4" x 2 3/4"...holes are 3/16"

I had a bunch made up years ago, should do another batch.

I just did the artwork for it this morning & I've got a friend who has a laser business so he'll be doing the "print". I tried to make it as exact as I could with the fonts & kerning. The white areas are transparent, of course. (Added watermark so the image can't be stolen off the Googles).

I lucked out too, at least close enough, that I had a number stamp set at work that was almost identical to my 73' numbers.

I searched high and low for a JDM reproduction one. Finally found a helpful chap who's able to make them, but they're a plastic with the 'metal' printed on. Still, from a far it looks good and much better than what I had.

I did a film print of my artwork & it printed really well. Then I thought it might make a cool T-shirt if I increased the size a bit. I think I'll make one & see. It'd be kind of a fun "if you know, you know" sort of shirt!
