what is better about the new version?
Re: RE: post subject
They are now R200 ready so no mods needed to fit, still ok for 160/180.Yellowcar wrote:what is better about the new version?
Minor tolerance correction.
The 4140 adjuster bolts.
3.5" or 4" exhaust opening.
this will be poss the second to last upgrade on the std X member if at all. Which will remain in production.
next year we move on to our full fabed X member to take short nose 180/200 diffs. these are easy to obtain in VLSD or mechanical and cheap to obtain.
modded arms to take inner & outer CV shafts with R32/33 rear bearing carriers. will take the S13/14/15/R32/33 rear brake assy depending on version will also be available. easy 5 stud conversion this way.
I'll asume his solid spacers were noisy because they my have rattled in the bore. I had aluminum bushings on my sway bar and had the same issue - they are gone now. This is not an issue with the com10 set up. I don't hear anything out of mine, in any situation. It's bolted up tight.

After you're running stiff springs, stiff shocks, and low profile tires with real grip coupled with an ITB manifold, big free-flowing exhaust and a spartan (if any) interior - a little road noise is suddenly inconsequential. I have all the above (including no interior) but my car is not a boulevard cruiser.

I got into a discussion on the bb list about loud cars, rough suspension, stripped interiors, etc. and I have to say that alot of the guys on there are total wusses. I guess you northern folk are all just more manly than alot of the guys down here.
