The 340, 10.5:1 CR, 2 " intake valves, only ever came with a 4bbl (six pack available on can am cars) and duals, has a pronounced lope at the factory idle of 900 rpm, windage tray, factory rated at a BS 275 horse power NHRA rating was 310+. Nice motor and nice car. And I should know, I bought a '70 dodge 340 new and it 1/4 miled at 14.20 ET bone stock. With some legal stock adjustments (tires, headers, ign., 4:11's and posi you were well into the 13's.) All on a 3,000 lb car. Your 'CUDA would easily do as good. Very, very nice!
