Datsunboy's KP510 JDM 1600SSS bluebird coupe
Hey guys,
I'm new to these forums, thought I'd say hello from New Zealand!
anyway, I have a 1970 P510 4dr sedan with CA18DET, and a 1970 KP510 JDM 1600SSS bluebird coupe.
As this is the only KP510 in NZ I know of, I will be keeping it as original as possible.
progress will be slow, as I dont have huge amounts of money, and Im still paying off the loan for the coupe.
I also have a 1970 Datsun 1600 with CA18DET that soaks money from me too.

Nice car.
Simple, clean... a whole lot of fun. With the extra carburetion to make it sound great, and improve throttle response. I'll bet it's a keeper.
Love the other related 510's. The 1200 Ute's in those pics are uber cool as well. We never got those in North America. I've seen them in Guatemala and all over in Oz when I was traveling.
Very cool.

yeah, the whole car is hard to get here too!
This is the only one in NZ (imported from Japan about 6months ago), and from what Ive seen, there are about 10-15 of them in the USA.
Yep, fold down rear seat....take the headrests off the front, and you got yourself a "bed"...lol
Yep, thats a "1200 ute" as we call them in NZ, but same car as your thinking of.
We have a Datsun Club in NZ, thats only been going for about 2 years....and got about 150 active members, which is pretty good for our small NZ.
We have small meets from time to time ( which that pic with the 1200 ute is from ), and then once a year, we have a big meet, where people travel for up to about 20 hours driving from all over NZ, to come, this year we are hoping for about 50 Datsun's
and thats happining next weekend ( 24/25th Feb ), so I will post some pics of that too when I get back.

They are easy to find here. Came stock on lots of US cars.datsunboynz wrote:cheers guys,
If anyone knows where to get a hold of some original hubcaps for a bluebird 1600 SSS coupe, then I'd gladly buy them!
I've been looking around, and seems there are pretty hard to find.
Hate to tell you, but most folks here threw them away long ago...
I'll send you as clean set if you send me the wheels on your Coupe?
