Great color!,
I'm looking for for the right shade of orange for my car, What color is yours?
BTW, i may have an old GT6 sales brochure if you are interested. i spent a lot of time and money at the triumph dealership in the early 70's when i going through my "British" phase. i used to pick up the brochures on my way to the parts counter LOL

I found the brochure, it doesn't say what year it 's from but it's your body style and it does not have the bumper overriders.
If you pm me with your address I'll send it to you, it needs a good home! My GT6+ was a '69. I have the brochures for it too but I think I'll keep them.

The brochure was sent today. I haven't owned anything British in over 30 years and it's still costing me money LOL
guess I'm not used to sending stuff to Canada!
Oh I forgot about the BSA project in my garage (another future money pit) still cursed!
But a deal is a deal. Enjoy!
There is a whole page dedicated to it's racing history

Finally an update..... Headliner is in, Glass and Drive shaft next week. Started the engine today with MINIMAL issues. I reversed the fuel lines forgot to add RTV to the coolant hose adapter a very small leak considering no gasket or RTV :) I must say the Wiring specialties Harness made the S14 Zenki wiring a no brainer. I will post some pix later. It's Beer time cuz I'm awful happy how this thing is turning out.

Hey Andrew, can you expand a bit on your experience installing the WS harness? How long did it take and what was your process? Did you just follow the installation instructions, or did you wire in your starting/ignition system via the 510 harness?

Thanks,

RonM

Kept it as two independant systems other than the Starter circut I stuck with the 510 circut for that. it really was that easy .

Well I am close to the end of the build. Things left to do
Finish Seat Belts
Custom Exhaust
Alignment
Install Boost Controller and Gauges.

A Sound system for when I am done listening for strange noises. At this point none to report other than the rear tires making all kinds of noise :)
That said I had no Idea this thing could make so much power YIKES!!!!. :) :)

Here are some updated PIX .

Congratulation, and welcome to the Done Club, or at least running anyway. Nice job Andrew, Now let the fun begin!

If I recall you are using the stock ECU, will the boost controller be an electronic piggyback unit or manual? What kind of boost are you running now? BTW you are going to love those Revolution gauges. Very cool setup, and super easy to instal.

Looking forward to seeing more,

Ron M.

Latest Update On My Car.
Little Issues
Heat Sheild Rattles like Hell ...Fixed
Gas Leak at Cap ...Fixed
Too Soft Rear Spring ...Fixed

Big issue
Engine has a funky Idle ( sounds like a Subaru )
Engine Compression
1,2 and 3 140lbs
4, 75lbs
Transmission has Bad 5th Gear syncro probably because of the Short Shifter putting a lot of stress on things.

What To do ???? Drive it till the engine is real Bad ? Find a Long Blockand another transmission and do a re and re ??

Well for now I can tell you this . It still makes Great prower and drives well so I think its drive time and keep an eye open for another engine.

may be worth trying a cylinder leak down test to see where its most likely coming from
