Hello everyone! My name is Oswaldo Quiroga, but commonly called Ozzy. I am new to the forum and I hope to learn alot from everyone. I own several cars. I currently have 4 datsuns.

I own a 1971 datsun 510 race car. It ised to be 2, but i recently sold the second 510 to a friend of mine who is gonna put it back on the street. I am still getting to know my car and it came with a ton of extra parts. Currently it has an L18 with a W53 head and running a 4 spd manual. Rear end is a Subaru STI posi 4:10 gears and the car is lightened up. It has full cage and lexan side windows and rear window. Current setup is a Canon intake witha single Weber 40DCOE carb. I plan to install dual carbs soon. As far as wheels are concerned, i have 3 different sets. A set of 13x5 libre wheels, a set of 13x7 0 offset steelies with Toyo R888 205/60r13, and a set of aluminum beadlock wheels running 22x8.0-13 Hoosier slicks and 22x8.2-13 AVON slicks in the back. I use the car currently for autocross as it is the only event wherw i can drive the car.

Spare parts include a z22 block with a W58 head and if i recall it is slightly stroked and is a 2.3L race prep engine and an L16 with a V912 head. Race prepped engine also. I also have an STI 3.90 rear diff and a 5 spd tranny which is not familiar to me as it has a lower oil pan on it.

My other 3 datsuns include a 1978 280z, 1978 280z "black pearl" edition, and a 1971 240z series 1 with original motor, trans, and paperwork. It even has the warranty card and owners manuals.

Hello. Here is my 510 in action. Previous history of this car is pretty cool. This car used to be raced in Fontana Speedway and Willows Springs raceway. It used to be run under vintage racecar. This car is a lot of fun and have made some of the Porsche guys jealous because she tucks and doesnt loose the rear end on corners. Front suapension has 280ZX struts with camber plates and adjustable dampening struts. Soon i will be checking her total weight once i clean and replace the fuel cell foam. Just hard finding time with a family and a full time job. Hope to get some feedback from everyone. Thanks for letting me join the group
