Ok then, carry on doing more to achieve less, while being wrong about everything
The IDx 10 concept is based on the 510 in the same way that the urinating I was doing last night was based on a 30 yr old single-malt scotch.

It's the emptiest drums that make the most noise.

That explains your lengthy rants. Offer's still open, chief.

i wouldnt get hung up on part #s..

norm and mike are both correct - ZX and 510 are the same angles- we have been using ZX struts (possibly not the 79 ones with a rack although i havent seen one of those in a while - -- the rest of the zx are a steering box - EXcept Turbo-- as direct replacements for 510s since the mid 80s..

240z 260z 280z s30 whatever you want to call them DO NOT FIT a 510 the angle is way off -
ive had s12? v6 struts work as well- the issue is HERE ZX is the easiest to find- while it is getting harder now- they are still able to be found just more expensive than in the past - as is everything. - unless you are big HP the stock 510 bearing is sufficient- they are super cheap here - and do a proper brake kit like DP racing sells its very cost effective--

The S12 struts are the same as the ZX ones except for the bolt spacing for the brake caliper. I think it is about 1/2" smaller.

Morning World.

Only those "long timers" on here will get the OKAYFINE reference.

I meant no disrespect to any parties and just saw both the humour of 2 guys having a discussion on something and it went sideways, simple as that. That type of discussion ( which it is not) just hit me as OKAYFINE's modus operandi and cracked me up, as a blast from the past.

That that became the norm for OKAYFINE, got him barred from the site.

I hadn't realized OKAYFINE had been banned.. LOL. I know the guy in real life though we don't speak much anymore.

I'm just here for the LOL's. This particular topic has been discussed to death in the 25+ years I've been into 510's... lol

Julian of the Dime Quarterly fame???? That Jules? I wrote him one time telling him the transmission swap info was incorrect so he said, "if you can do better show me." Took almost two years for me to polish it but no arguments and printed verbatim. Vol 11 issue 4.

Forgot how contentious he could be. One topic in 2009 with his only 10 posts bitching about copyrighted? Dime Quarterly material being posted on Ratsun. People should buy a subscription. Couple of FUs from members, the last was Icehouse asking him for donation for him using Ratsun to flog his news letter. LOL I locked it up. Some funny shit.

https://ratsun.net/topic/15489-the-dime-quarterly/

... and now even farther off topic of allegedly different strut angles.
