1968 Datsun 510 to collection

Thanks for letting me join the forum. I collect vintage signs, gas pumps, cars, jukeboxes and almost anything I think is cool. I started to enjoy the Datsun after looking for front side marker lamps for a 1968 Datsun 510. In my collection, I have a 1970 Avanti II. While cleaning it for a drive, the side marker lens came off in my rag. After much research I found that they used Datsun side markers. Once I’m able to post in the general population I hope to locate a NOS OEM pair of marker lights. There are some great looking cars posted on here.

I was not aware that the Avanti II used Datsun side marker lights. Very interesting and a very poor choice given these were only around for a couple of years and are very rare. You will find a few options for aftermarket side marker lenses but unlikely to find NOS ones unless you are willing to pay a lot... They do show up occasionally on eBay.
