Is JBC ending production?

Post by VR510 »

I emailed about availability about their famous crossmember and was told they have no plans to make anymore, does anybody have the scoop?
I REALLY want rack and pinion on my build, it would be a shame if such a beloved company came to an end :(

Jeff and Sam stopped making them a little while ago.

I was wanting to buy one of the crossmembers last year, and was bummed when I saw they were no longer in production. I emailed James about the possibility of him selling the CAD file for the crossmember so I could have one cut up locally and weld it myself, but I never received a response.

I would think need at least 10 sets to make cnc run on the arms reasonable priced.
at least I got the 2 I need!

I doubt anyone would be able to take over and do it for less? unless they have machine shop access for free.

I'm working on the files so you guys can just send the drawings to Send Cut Send and weld your own.

RHD is just welding the rack clamps on the other way. I have a RHD version in my coupe.

Oh hell yeah! I'm in as soon as they are available. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these drawings available to us.
