have a friend about to install a headliner in his dime and he has no interior pillar vents - its being custom made in alacantra
now if he has the headliner made and doesnt use anything will this cause any issues? the exterior vents are in place--

Working on a 68 two-door 510 that had nothing because it wasn't old race car..
have a 70 dash and wiring.
don't have a complete 68 heater.
I see heater mounts are different as well.
anyone tried installing a full 70 heater and making mounts?
or do I need a 68 heater and use 70 cables

so there is only 1 motor? as i have 2 here and they are almost identical except the mounting ears are further apart -- in height.. thought were both 510 motors as ive never had a roadster.

need all the mounts and possibly 1 pivot for a 68.. 69?
I know motors have a different mount. but have 2 of those. some linkage but nothing that screws to cowl exterior..

grind a bit off that tit on the bottom off the strut--
and have someone turn the stock nut on a lathe to eliminate the rubber seal/o rings portion--
all aftermarket struts use a open nut.. FYI
