Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
THANKS GANG! As usual, Andy was right onto my carb top when I went to the shop! He could feel the "wiggle" of the brass fitting. With his fine eye he could see there was enough meat to tap for a 1/8" NPT hose fitting. The depth was a bit of an issue but there was enough to get a good ...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
Morning World...or at least the few that still come to look. As yesterday, here in Vancouver, it was a very nice sunny day. I decided to put another 6 months insurance on the 510, thinking I would take if for a drive yesterday, check the jetting and then maybe get a few days if we get no road salt o...

Re: 72 2 Door 510 Restoration-25 years in the making
So sorry that happened!!!! I know the feeling of heart break, I felt that the few years ago in the spring when the motor head gasket, fuel line, clutch died, at the same time, getting ready for spring drive. Just NOT ready to deal with that level of work and frustration. Your mouse trap is exactly w...

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
Wow...summer has gone by...hardly drove the 510, just seemed to never work out! I got my fan issue sorted, it was just that the fuse holder had built up resistance due to corrosion and turned itself into a toaster. A few weeks ago I attended the Induction ceremony for Tracey into the Motorsports hal...

Re: Which Rear Camber And Toe Product?
As I have followed this thread for awhile, I thought I would chime in. If what it sounds like you are describing is..."Oversteer"...that is the problem with basically stock suspension. As the suspension travels due to the design, the arc of travel has the wheel toe out, which then basicall...

"Wet Leaf Classic" Mission Race #5 SCCBC
“Wet Leaf Classic” SCCBC Race # 5 Tracey and the stock car went by us at 120+ MPH, heading to the braking and turn in area. My eyes followed them down, when suddenly, a large cloud of blue/white tire smoke erupted, the stock car spun…and Tracey came back to the pits. This was to be the second last r...

Re: OR4NGE Restomod
I would suggest the the second line is for the "pollution" control system, a fuel vapor line back to a small tank mounted under the rear parcel shelf. You can just see the small tank at the top of the picture, it has the reflection of the decal on it. I use that line now for a fuel return ...
