Re: "1800SSS" historic racing project
Well, thats a hard one to answer...kinda. That looks to be a fast downhill section, so the loading off the right hand side is tremendous. IF..the car handles well in every other situation, it's not worth worrying about. IF...the car does that on the flat, on hard corners...THEN you might want to rev...

Re: "1800SSS" historic racing project
Here is a picture of my 510... "3 wheeling" at the Knox Mountain Hillclimb.
In fact, if you look close, there is a dip in the pavement there and that is a fast corner I am in, so the G-loading is very high. I'm doing about 70 MPH there.

Re: L20b installation question
I see 20 PSI at idle, engine at temp.
I see max 60 PSI but that is in reality not totally accurate for me, as I have turbo that draws off the gauge line. Pump is shimmed for about 70-75 PSI.
A rule of thumb is 10 PSI for every thousand RPM approx.
What do you see at 3-4 thousand RPM?

Morning World! Good post Rob. No, that is NOT John, it is Harry Watson, co-owner of the Miata. Harry bought that car new and at some point wandered into Specialty and said.."Want to go racing!?" Wham..we now have a 400 Hp Miata, which he and Tracey have driven for years now. Harry is not d...

Re: MISSION CACC RACE #3
The race is at Mission Raceway which is about 30 to 40 miles from Vancouver, to the east. This was , and still is, a historical rooted drag track, that has allowed the Sports Car Club of B.C. to put in a small road course at the end of the drag strip. Luckily there was enough land there to do that. ...

Morning World, Here is my race report and pictures from Race #3 at Mission Raceway this past Saturday. Mission Race # 3 What a wonderful cool and calm drive out to Mission Raceway early Saturday morning in the G35. I elected NOT to take the 510 as I knew it was supposed to be hot in the afternoon. I...

Re: KMS Tools Cars & Coffee, Abbotsford
When ever I have had to log into LIFE LABS for any test results,
I have to check a box that says: I AM NOT A ROBOT
Otherwise it does not let me in, is that possible to do something similar?
