It would be fun to see you up there Jeff, I think you would have a lot of fun, I might be able to give you a few tips. You have some good driving experience now, which is a very good thing for Knox.

Just in case you wanted to see the real world times of the cars, here are the 2019 times. As you can see, very few cracked the 2 minute barrier. Every second gained does not come easy here and as I have written, it is unforgiving if you make a mistake.

Keith, thank you for taking the time to post pictures and write a story for those of us lurking on the realm. It's ALWAYS interesting, your drives, hiking, Knox, etc.

The fellow with the BMW seems to be a somewhat recent contender though maybe longer than I think. Perhaps you've seen his car, if so could you describe the level of prep? I'm surprised at the time he's posting.

Yes, that BMW is FAST and Andre is a good pilot. He has been running for a number of years. It is a 1999 BMW M3 e36, stripped to 2,200 lbs, making a supercharged HP of about 480. Racing is a hobby and has raced Ferrari's in Italy.

Dr. Andre Mariali is a U.B.C. engineering prof. and co-founder of a biotech company called BOREAL GENOMICS.
