Another great race weekend!

Started with some practice.

Which got cut short due to a BMW money shifting which caused them to loose control and hit the barrier in front of a tower. They had to stop practice due to it.

Then we did some super fun racing. Here is Carter getting the checkered flag and a second place finish! We didn't get enough points to podium but it sure was fun!!

My boy found some friends and played in the dirt all weekend.

Skip 10 minutes in. This is from a 1st gen RX7 we had a blast trying to get around that brick car.

Missed the first race of the year because Carter had Covid. We raced over the weekend but saturday was cut short..... Our new Driver Paul looped it in turn 2 at Seattle and a rookie driver hit the side of use instead of going around. Bent the control arm.

Tis but a scratch.....
If no one from the future comes back to stop you from doing it then how bad of a decision can it really be?

All fixed. Ready for our race in 3 weeks to see if we can make it a race without issue or damage. We also got a set of 245's longer wheel studs and are installing a 6 speed I have. My goal is to run a sub 2 minute lap at Shelton. Sam is flying back for the race so I will only have 2 stints to do it. fingers crossed!

Last race of the year this weekend. Lets see if we can finish up the season without ruining our new paint. Sam flew back from Vermont to race with us. It will be 4 drivers so we each if everything goes well only get to race once.... but for 2 hours each day. I'm excited. When it was just me and Carter racing for 10+ hours a weekend was cool but kinda boring in the pits by yourself.

All going well, I have races on both the 17th and 18th locally. I could actually finish up my novice license and get my full senior license by the end of the weekend.
I should start a thread, we can stay in touch here on our efforts.
Car looks great, Jeff. I really like the stripes you added.

Are those photos taken at the Ridge?
I’d like to drive that track one day. I’ve heard the elevation changes are pretty cool. But you are blessed to have two good tracks near you as SIR is also a great track.

I don't care for SIR. Straightaway is boring and the bottom area swallow's up lots of cars. The track just wasn't designed that well in my mind. You need to race ORP best track ever!!! All elevation, Sam calculate that in the weekend we went our car climbed 20 miles total. haha Nerds are the best.
