So I bought the baby blue '69 above. It has been hit at some time both on the front and the rear so not really worth the bother of fixing it up. Going to part it out next weekend and send the shell to the scrap yard. Anyone have any interest in any of the parts? Motor is a J16 apparently. If your not in a hurry, I can bring stuff up to the Houston area in mid-December and ship from there.

There are some decent collector examples around especially in the Leon/Guanajuato area in that price range. I also have heard of a really good one owner sedan in Guadalajara that the guy wants around $50,000 MX for. If you are keen on it, I'll hunt it down for you and take some pictures of it and post them here.

No, not keen, just wondering.

Bill's earlier post w/ links to ads was helpful.
There seemed to be some nicer 510s and other Datsuns for sale $50-135k MX.
And some interestingly modified ones too...

Since this thread was referenced by Julian this week;

Bob, are you still around? Liking out there?

Did you ever get the 510 you wanted? Be great to hear from you.
