We got a resin printer at work. For testing I drew up a Datsun Roadster heater control switch knob. Black is the OG one. The orange is version 1 clear is the latest version. I later printed it in black but that's pretty boring.

Nice! 3D printers are great things to have.

Is that hinge cover all one piece?

Rush how did you do the badge? Did you scan it? Find matching font?
I printed this a while ago. For my buddies datsun roadster, RHD parts are impossible to find. So we scanned and printed a LHD one then mirrored and printed it. I love 3D printing. I print stuff all the time. So handy. I printed a thin wall long nut to hold down the remote garbage disposal button in my sink. The threads weren't long enough and they didn't sell the part I needed. It even worked first try! The SLS printer at work prints amazing. Even the threads worked perfectly.

That is an impressive piece!
Yeah, I just plopped the one emblem I've got on the flatbed scanner then did the model in Fusion 360.

Flatebed scanner is genius! I should have done that with a spacer I made using the OEM gasket!

Lol! Yep! Sometimes with all this fancy techy stuff, it's easy to overlook the simple stuff. I just toss a US quarter coin on there with the item then size it in Fusion til the quarter is about an inch (actually, 24.257 mm if you need it to be precise) & that will give you the proper scale for the item. Sorta primitive, but it works!
