Nissan SR20DE:

Honda K24:

The K24 is a bigger engine, makes sense it weighs a little more. Thanks for the weights.

Perhaps the 1600 valve cover is misleading, it is a Z-22 block. The L-16 is not 144 kg, don't remember but think it was somewhere around 130 kg.
Of course for the most precise result should all weighing be done with the same flywheel/clutch pack.
Or even better without it, then the variation in flywheel/clutch weight wont give misleading results.
Very long time ago i weigh some parts.
L-13 bare block 32,8 kg
L-18 bare block 40 kg
L-18 bare block 86mm bore 38,6 kg (i remember the block's could vary a 2-3 kg, so what this could weigh before the 86mm bore i don't know)
Z-20 bare block 42,4 kg (with bearing caps 46,5 kg)
Z-24 bare block 45,2 kg (two block's weigh the same)
To bad my notes not telling if it was with or without the bearing caps, but the Z-20 caps with bolts are 4,1 kg.
L-18 block with internals (four cw crank) 60 kg
LD-20 block with internals (eight cw crank) 69 kg
Z-20 block with internals (eight cw crank) 70 kg
This was my notes i could find.

We weighed our L18 that we never ran. It doesn't have carbs but those don't weigh much
