Posting pictures problem

Post by bertvorgon »

Anybody else having a problem with posting pictures?

I do reduce mine, so that should not be an issue. The pictures show loading up, but then as the green bar says they are in, I get a yellow triangle and not the check mark.

I have just tried loading one but the same thing happens.

Hi Keith, can you get a screen shot of that yellow triangle and e-mail it to me?

If you don't know this trick on a PC... if you hit that button that everyone always wonders what the hell it is for, the "PrtScn" button, then you have grabbed a screen shot to the Windows clipboard. Open some program like "MS Paint", then select "Paste" and you will have a screen shot of your entire screen. Go to "file" and "save as", change the file type to be a .jpg or a .png and save it and fire it over to me so I can see what you are talking about.

Tried to attach a picture, yellow triangle as noted. Click on the triangle and it says:

Error

Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.

Tried to attach the screen shot, but no go. File size only 50kB.

I have also had extremely slow response on this site for the last month or more. It's like dialup. Maybe more than a minute to log in.

Thanks for posting that, at least I know I am not alone.

I get the "resource limit reached" a lot

Really frustrating for sure. so slow in our speedy world where if it does not happen in .002 seconds......

Have some good pictures from the last event and today's race at Mission. Day did NOT end well for the Specialty Miata. I will do a bit of a write up later. I'm tired now, long day.

Rob had said he would contact Spencer, maybe not yet or too busy..for both...who knows.

The weird thing is that I called and spoke with someone at the ISP/Host and they did a few pokey checky things and said we are not near our use limit nor at traffic limits. Messed-up back-line database? Messed-up front-end php scripts for fetching back-line DB items? Will continue to try to discover a solution.

That said, we are in the new AI-revolution, where more sophisticated techniques are being applied to completely useless things like attack bots from China, Russia, Ukraine, etc... (potentially a race to the bottom, where only the AI system wins?)

Kids, etc...

I found a board attachment limit size that I just doubled. Seems to work now? Can others check?

Not sure if this may also cause the slow down.. probably not tho.

Thanks for the email Rob!
