Great show, lots to do, museums, trains, rust.... camping is available.

Thanks for the update…I know it’s been a few months since I’ve been on the Realm. I am still working nearly full time…I’ll collect Social Security Benefits in July! Maybe be a worthy break to go up hill on the map to check this event out. Thanks for the contact!

What are the attendance numbers usually like for this show?

The attendance for last years show was 91 cars on Saturday. There were also quite a few vendors selling new and used parts.

The venue could easily hold twice as many cars. I'm surprised it doesn't draw as many folks as the Canby shows, Brooks is only 15 minuets farther south from Portland than Canby. The venue is cool as well. For the price of admission to the show you get access to all of the Powerland museums, which have an impressive amount of trucks and heavy duty power equipment, some with guided tours from Powerlands volunteers. There are lots of trees to provide shade from the July sun, and the venue has freshly cooked food available for reasonable prices. There are also flush toilets, and showers for campers.

Sounds like a great show. I'm away at this time and navigating the border right now sounds like as much fun (and maybe more similarities than one likes to admit) as a proctologist visit.

So few opportunities to gather with a significant number of vintage Datsun enthusiasts... I hope it goes well and look forward to a time when getting there will be back to normal. Post pictures!
