What did you do on your 510 today?
What did you do on your 510 today?
You know, I really like what the Ratsun site did with this thread – and I want to steal it for the Realm! It's simply what the title reads - maybe you don't need a thread, or maybe what you did doesn’t need to be added to your existing thread(s) - this is just a general place to post something you did to your 510 today!

Took the Bronze and Ole Blue for their annual BC emissions test today - got a 50% pass rate for my efforts.
Ole Blue sailed through - even had to teach the guy how to find the fwd gears with a 3 on the tree!
But the Bronze didn't do so well; HC's too high at idle. I wonder if I leaned it out too much... have to work on this some more before I park it for the winter! The car is to low to sit on the dyno, so they just overrode the test and did an idle only. Unfortunately, this is the harder of the two tests; a huge cam and IR TB’s don’t help either!
Then I took my frustrations out on parting a 72 4dr....made good progress, spent 3 hours on the job - I’ll take more photo’s tomorrow.

I beat the shit out of my car, carved some corners on the way back home from hockey, knocked off a toyota tacoma sport truck multiple times......patted it on the roof when I got home.

Re: What did you do on your 510 today?
I pulled my engine wiring harness apart today, to try and figure out why it's blowing the injector/ECU power back up fuse (last night on the way home from Yokohama, x4 fuses). Only to pull it all apart, not find anything, put it all back together and now it don't blow the fuse. I even put a 5 amp fuse and it still won't blow it, traced the entire length of the suspect wire and nothing, not a nick..... Even went to UpGarage and bought a lightly tuned Mines ECU just in case I burned something while trying to wire up that Power steering (yesterday), which is yet to work.....that's another story. I did drive it around the neighborhood today, had fun doing it too!

I charged the battery in my race car, gave it it's monthly warm up, and terrorized my neighborhood for about 5 minutes as I lapped my block.

For what it's worth,....I though about my 510 today, as I came DOWN from Manning Park camping, and thought how I could terrorize the guys on the sport bikes, going UP to Manning Park.
