Ok so I havent posted anything because I was away on business for 9 months. Anyway, I started making the real fender flares out of sheetmetal. Here is what it looks like so far. I did this in about a half hour on the metal shrinker. This is pretty close to what I think I will make the final product.

I know your sig says sr20dat, but that looks like some kind of 'v' engine architecture to me. WhTs the plan? Inquiring minds want to know...

Thanks...I am on like the 3rd design by now. I am finally happy with how it is turning out. It had a sr20DET at one point but that got idea got scrapped long ago. It has a 4.3L Lexus V-8 (3UZ-FE). I posted a long time ago on another thread when I was installing that. It has a r32 skyline cross member that I modified to accept the new engine. It has a some garbage lower control arms and some Techno Tuning Toys torsion rods that aren't gonna work with those lca's. I am going to get their new fully adjustable set up.

I love these engines. I am thinking of changing my daily for an LS400/LS430. Nice fab work indeed. I thought I was progressing very slowly, but a 7 years gap between the 2 updates is a record haha

They are great cars and they never die. Unless you do this to one. in my defense, I was living overseas or away from my car for over half of the 7 years.
