Ok so I'm trying to lock down 1 of 2 car candidates. 1 is a 71-510 4 door in Spokane WA and 2 would be a 72-1200 coupe in Vancouver WA.
Heard from the 1200 owner but he said he wanted his friend to handle the sales n show?...... Hmmmmmm.
Haven't heard back from 510 owner yet. Message left this AM.
Now it's the waiting.

An Idea doesn't work unless you do.

I'm trying for one but the deals don't seem to accumulate. I got the eyes peeled.

I actually talked to OS about the head last year and they said a ball park of $20,000 USD, way too much cash for me. I am looking at the possibility of going with the Les Collins Racing set-up, KA Twin Cam Head on L-Series block, much more cost effective and the same kind of power if not more torque depending on the block you use. You can use carbs if you want but would probably have to go to 48's or 50's but would save lost of $$ on the overall price see link.
