510 Day - Byron's place in Maple Ridge

For you that are close to Metro Vancouver, or willing to take a bit of a drive in your Classic Datsun, I'm throwing open the yard to celebrate 510 day, at may place int Maple Ridge.

This is an annual event, and it will always take place on May 10th every year unless otherwise noted. Watch the subject line for the year of the event! The address is 22604 124th Ave, Maple Ridge.

For 2015....

There’s no shop yet, and not a lot 510 stuff here (yet…). But there is plenty of yard to bring your Classic Datsun to, and a great deck and a couple of BBQ’s to work from. The grill will be hot and ready, I have some burgers, dog and chips as in years past. Feel free to bring your own meat if you so choose.

It’s a Sunday event this year, so the timing is good for an afternoon BBQ. I think that being a Sunday it’ll be a mid-day event wrapping up by 7pm as kids need to go to school the next day. Come by any time you like.

All Datsun/Nissan fans are welcome, but please respect the neighborhood. If you can't respect this one thing, then I ask you not to come. It's my only request and I'm quite serious about it. No burnouts on the way in or out.

There's lots and lots of lawn, please bring a chair to plant yourself in. If the weather doesn't cooperate, there will be plenty of Group B rally videos on the TV again! The new place can house everyone indoors if it’s really bad. Rain or shine event, no problem.

Let me know if you’re interested in attending with your significant other, friend, mistress – whatever; Bring your kids if you like, mine are 5 and 8. There’s a trampoline in the back yard for the kids; And for adults to make complete fools of themselves. There will be a waiver to sign for anyone over 20 though … Let me know if you are coming, I just would like a rough head count for the burgers (and dogs for the kids).

As in the past, this will be continue to be an annual event, come on by and celebrate 510 Day against the mountains in Maple Ridge – All Datsun Fan Welcome and highly encouraged to bring you Classic Nissan/Datsun.

mandy and I will be there at sometime tomorrow, we will head out in the morning up the stave lake fsr splash around in some puddles get bent on switchbacks and come by once the car is dirty.

Oh I didn't know it was mothers day.. I will have to do something really nice for my wife so I can get out there instead of at home with her and the munchkins.
